Heartfelt. Genuine. Caring. Sentimental. Laura and Jonathan’s picturesque wedding had it all. These two radiant happiness in one another, and found countless ways to make their wedding day a reflection of who they are. From the officiant who was Laura’s childhood librarian to flowers supplied by their aunts’ family farm, there was so much love in the process. - Margie Welch, Dirigo Event Co.
Laura and my relationship goes back to her high school days, when I was a camp counselor at a running camp on Mount Desert Island in Maine, and she was a camper. I was absolutely delighted when she reached out to work on day-of papers with me for her wedding at Wells Reserve!
The New England running community is small, and while in the midst of planning, the two of us quite literally ran into each other as we were dashing around at a cross country meet this past fall, cheering for my sister (me) and her athletes (Laura). I’ll never forget our realization of seeing the other, exchanging a quick hello as we both continued running our separate ways, and Laura shouting back to me, “I know I owe you an email, I’ll be in touch soon!!”
We created custom watercolor table numbers, where each was an icon of something important to the couple; the Slovenian Shield of Arms, a peach, the Petaluma, CA chicken.
