Autumnal Tones at Hidden Pond

Peyton and Ryan were married on a gorgeous fall day at Hidden Pond in Kennebunkport, Maine. We worked closely with the couple and Jodi from Azalea Events to design their save the dates, invitations, and day-of papers.

The save the dates featured a watercolor of the autumn-colored birch trees reflecting in the stunning pond at the venue, which was then used again as the schedule of events card design in the invitation suite. We wanted to evoke the coziness of fall within the suite, and opted to print the invitations on green paper with warm copper foil. The details cards and envelope liners featured a custom log pattern I painted to mimic one of the interior walls at Hidden Pond, and we used green envelopes to match the invitations. The idea was to have the suite be inspired by nature and fall in Maine, and I think we nailed it!
