I had an idea for a watercolor wedding stationery business in the winter of 2012, and by early 2013, I had sold my very first invitation package. For $80. On eBay. I was thrilled.

After my first sale, I realized that maybe eBay wasn’t the right platform for my intended audience, which is when I discovered Etsy. From the days of lower-budget weddings on Etsy (with a simple business logo I’d created on Pages) to serving my current high-end clientele, I’ve had plenty of practice on the ins-and-outs of Emily Post Wedding Etiquette, where to source the prettiest silk ribbons, and all the little details that add up for a seamless client experience.

Whether you’re just dipping your toes into the industry and looking for your first sale, or you’ve been at it for a while and are eager to book your first 15k+ stationery client, I’ll meet you where you are. I believe our entire industry benefits when we share our ideas and resources, rather than view other stationers as our competition. With millions of weddings per year, there’s room for all of us to find our niche!

Maybe you’re just getting started. Or maybe, you’ve been at it for a while but have wished time and again that your partner or best friend understood the pains of the wedding stationery world, wishing they could help you through questions like:

  • Are Email marketing/CRMs something I should look into/ what platform should I use?

  • What are some tips to start filling up my calendar ASAP?

  • How can I simplify the tedious task of responding to so many back-and-forth emails with my clients during the design process?

  • What should I ACTUALLY be pricing my work at, and how do I upsell to clients?

  • I’m ready to tap into the luxury market but have no idea where to begin, help!

My mentorship offerings enable creatives to focus on doing what they’re passionate about instead of drowning in trial and error- I’ve already done that part for us for the past decade! Best of all, as a call rather than a course, every topic covered will be catered to your specific questions and pain points.

My 1:1 mentorship call with Addie was more helpful than I ever could have imagined. While I have professional design experience, I’m new to the wedding invitation industry. I had no idea how to price my work (it’s so hard to find answers to this online!), and Addie walked me through example pricing structures for my suites, including different products and services I could include in my various package tiers when presenting to clients. She advised me on which platforms are most effective for finding my ideal clients, strategies on how to network with other professionals in the industry, and how to create a detailed project timeline for custom clients. In addition to being extraordinarily knowledgeable about the ins-and-outs of this industry, Addie is generous, warm, and encouraging. After our call, I felt energized and excited to continue my journey in starting a wedding stationery business. I cannot recommend a 1:1 with Addie enough!
