Melina and Jeff had an intimate wedding on the quaint island of North Haven, Maine, at the historic Wooster Farm where American painter Frank W. Benson once called home. A “locals island,” North Haven is a magical place where one can buy 20 freshly farmed oysters for $10 and where houseboats abound.

We chose to highlight this unique venue on their wedding invitations, with a watercolor of the building and grounds.

The couple gathered with their closest family and friends to celebrate and share a quintessential Maine Island weekend. Kelcey of K. Marie Events and Design dressed the reception tables in soft hues of sage and blush, with whimsical garden florals and many candles. The day was filled with perfect September weather, a fun vintage getaway car, a champagne tower, a quick game of tennis, and an incredible amount of laughs, tears, and stories. The perfect night ended with a bright harvest moon over the ocean.
