Soft Greens at Pepperrell Cove
July 10, 2024
Micah from Bridges and Co reached out with an idea of a coastal styled shoot in Maine that was still refined, yet slightly off the beaten path for the typical style and decor that comes with a seaside wedding. We leaned into texture, patterns, and pops of green- from the florals to the linens and the paper goods.
We featured our Nantucket Harbor semi-custom suite with a simple sailboat line drawing on the invitation and a harbor watercolor on the envelope liner. The suite was secured with a velvet dusty blue ribbon and custom wax seal, and completed with a pop of blue with the envelopes.
The day-of papers included a gorgeous wooden model sailboat that I constructed, and then wrote the signature drinks on the sail in serif lettering. It took a long time to construct but was well worth the end result! Micah and I had both always wanted to have a sailboat cocktail sign and were both giddy at the prospect of finally having one in each of our portfolios! I also created layered place cards, with a toile paper backing and names on the top layer. These were secured with gold pins. The menus were square with fun scalloped edging for added interest.
